# Suppliers, purchase payments and purchase returns

> Manage suppliers and distinguish debt, payment and returns on a company purchase.

## Supplier record

Check existing records in **Products and Purchases → Suppliers (Ürünler ve Alışlar → Tedarikçiler)**. For a new record, enter supplier name and, if needed, record code, phone/email and serviced branches. Internet is required. Leaving an existing masked contact field blank does not delete stored details.

## Purchase record actions

1. Open **Purchase details (Alış ayrıntısı)** for the company purchase in **Purchase and Consignment Tracking (Alış ve Konsinye Takibi)**; verify product, pieces, cost and debt unit.
2. Use **Assign supplier (Tedarikçi ata)** when missing. **Make payment (Ödeme yap)** appears for debt; **Collect receivable (Alacağı tahsil et)** for supplier credit. Enter account, unit and quantity only for actual payments.
3. With **Purchase return (Alış iadesi)** select returnable quantities/pieces still in stock and enter a reason. **Cancel purchase (Alışı iptal et)** is separate; do not assume used or linked pieces permit cancellation.
4. Enter a refund line only if money was actually returned. Without one, previous payments remain and the result may become a supplier receivable. Check stock, balance and payment movements after saving.

> A purchase return is neither a [customer sales return](https://help.sarraf.net/en/satislar/odeme-ve-iade-bilgileri.md) nor a [consignment piece return](https://help.sarraf.net/en/urun-stok-alis/alis-ve-konsinye-takibi.md). For uncertain responses, use **Check record (Kaydı kontrol et)** instead of creating another record.
