# Import stock and purchases with Excel V2

> Separate opening stock from real purchases and confirm an XLSX preview before importing.

> [!NOTE]
>
> This translation is awaiting language review. Application screenshots and interface labels are in Turkish. The downloadable PDF is also in Turkish.

## Prepare the file

1. Open **Products and Purchases → Excel operations (Ürünler ve Alışlar → Excel işlemleri)**.
2. Choose **Existing stock / opening (Mevcut stok / açılış)** or **Actual new purchase (Gerçek yeni alış)**. Opening creates no supplier debt or payment and leaves cost unknown. A real purchase records the supplier, actual purchase rate and any payment.
3. Download the template with **Download selected type’s V2 template (Seçili türün V2 şablonunu indir)**. **Download stock report (Stok raporunu indir)** is not an import template.
4. Use one row per piece on `SarrafV2`. The same transaction code identifies one group. Use the product code for an existing product; provide fineness, grams and workmanship for a new one. A blank destination branch means central stock.

## Preview and confirmation

1. Select the XLSX file and **Prepare preview (Önizlemeyi hazırla)**. The limits are 50 MB and 100000 piece rows.
2. Review product, location, cost, payment and debt effects. The screen may show the first 100 transactions; use **Download full preview (Tüm önizlemeyi indir)** to check all groups.
3. Inspect invalid groups with **Download errors (Hataları indir)**. Read the checkbox and select **Confirm and import (Onayla ve aktar)**; only valid groups are applied.
4. Track results in **Import history (Aktarım geçmişi)**. For partial errors, use **Preview only failed transactions again (Yalnız hatalı işlemleri yeniden önizle)**; do not reimport completed groups.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Preview writes no stock. Final confirmation can create stock, purchase, payment and debt records. Reopening the screen follows the same running import; uploading the file again starts a separate import.
